Development of micro-pattern gas detectors with μ-RWELL technology for the high-luminosity upgrade of experiments at the LHC
Muon detectors in experiments at the LHC represent a challenge for Phase 2 upgrades. The Frascati group is developing a technology based on micro-pattern detectors at high granularity and with a simplified construction. The thesis will deal with R&D and beam test of μ-RWELL devices.
